Sites in Boston

Boston, Massachusetts is one of the oldest cities in the United States. It was here that the first sparks of the revolution against England occurred. The people are strong minded and persistent, and they value their community. They built things with the intention that they would last for future generations, just like the country they were creating.

The major historical sites range from the first churches established to the longest commissioned battleship in the United States. Many of the buildings are no longer used for their original purpose or a newer, updated building has been moved to another part of town – like the Boston Latin School – but their impact on history remains.
