Psychology
The people of Boston have a long line of strong leaders and citizens who stood for what they believed was right. These people were some of the first colonists to spark the revolution against England.
Boston is overflowing with significant historical sites. Along the Freedom Trail, there are major sites where events preceding the war occurred, from the Boston Massacre to the first warnings of the arrival of the British troops.
War times breed stress which affects the actions of the people. The American colonists were breaking off to form their own country after years of oppression by England. How did that stress shape the course of the American Revolution?
MY EDGE PROJECT
Hi! Welcome to my website for my EDGE project. For my project, I chose to travel to Boston, Massachusetts to learn more about the events that kick-started the American Revolution. I've learned so much about the major people involved and the sites of events significant to America's founding as its own nation. As a psychology major, I was also interesting in learning about the psychology of the revolution and how it affected the actions of the people and the key events of the war.
